The Droids Menagerie (2013 Edition)

Alright everyone., the "Droids Menagerie" has been completed after 9 months of solid work on the damn thing!  This contains all the droids I could scrounge up from the movies, every television show (cartoons and live action), theme park attractions and video games!

That's 545 droids!

This high quality paper print measures 3' x 1' and has a 1 1/2" border around all sides to allow for matting in a 36" x 12" frame (which you can purchase at most major art / framing stores).

The cost for each print is $100 with a flat $10 rate for shipping.  It will be shipped to you in a tube rolled and ready for framing.

Also available will be a very limited run of 20 of the giant sized 6' x 2' (72" x 24") canvas giclee prints.  Each of these prints will be hand signed and numbered.  These run $900 and shipping for each one is $40.

Contained in the shipment will also be a key to the whole thing.  This way you can know what droid is what and from where they came!  This piece will be sold for this year and will be updated yearly as new droids are discovered or created - so grab this one while you can, it's gonna change quite a bit as the years roll on!

All you have to do is email andyscoailindustries@gmail.com and I will give you ordering info personally.  Payment will be accepted via PayPal and the link for that will soon be on the right hand side of this blog (at the top, above the little profile thingymabobber).

I will begin accepting orders in April of this year, 2013!  But you can pre-order now so when it begins its printing run you can be ready to go and get yours as soon as possible!

I'm really excited about this piece and hope that you are too.  Definitely a work of love being a huge Star Wars geek!

Yep - I'm Still Here!

Not like anyone is reading this but myself, so hey Andy how ya doin'?

Me:  Oh, I'm doin' good, got a lot of projects in the works, I'll post some new stuff this week for ya.
Andy:  Thanks!  I can't wait for us to see 'em and talk about 'em to ourselves!
Me:  Me neither, gonna be a good week!
Andy:  Hells yeah it is!
Me:  O.K., I'll see ya in a bit, check back later tonight!
Andy:  I will!

So for the one or two people that do happen upon this, I do have 3 projects going on.  One is my massive "Droids" menagerie, that when done will be printed for sale.  The other is the end of the "Bloodsucka Jones" collector cards (Set 3).  And the last one is the full roster of "The Avengers".  I'm almost done sketching those out too.

So there ya go!

Patsy Baker Hero Card

Another card, well this time one big one actually, for our band, Patsy Baker (you can check out our EP on Reverb Nation or on Facebook).  Suggested by our drummer Zambo, here's a group version of us as the Superfriends.

It's A Small World Commissions

Both of these were done on commission and apparently went over really well!

The poster was supposed to be part of the clock tower picture, but it was just cluttering up everything too much.  So, I made a separate piece  out of the poster.

More Patsy Baker Cards

So for the holidays, I had a request from the other guys in my band for new cards for the season.  So in about 4 days, the sketches were done and all was colored in a arranged - not too damn bad if I do say so my damn self.

As always, if you wanna hear us, go to this link: http://www.facebook.com/patsybakermusic

Click on "Band Page" on the left and take a listen.  We just finished recording our new EP and that should up there as well within the month!

Tiki Room Bird Hosts (Revised)

On a recent trip to Disneyland and then to the Tiki Room, I noticed that the lamp housing for each bird, along with the wires holding the name tag shell are different on every host.

Kinda happy to find it out simply because I thought they all looked a little too similar.  So with that and a quick little quote from each character, I re-drew a couple things and there ya go!

Commissioned Piece (Superscott)

This is the recent commissioned piece I just finished and it seems it went over well with the "commissioner" (sounds frickin' sinister).

The background's a lift from an actual 1950's era "Superman" comic.
